Cracked Film Lab is Spokane’s only dedicated film lab, proudly serving photographers both locally and across the nation. Founded and operated by a professional film photographer with over a decade of experience, we are deeply committed to preserving the art and integrity of analog photography.

At Cracked Film Lab, every roll is processed by hand in small batches — never through an automated system. Our workflow is entirely hands-on, ensuring precision and consistency from development to scanning. Each film is carefully developed using Kodak Flexicolor chemistry and scanned using our proprietary Cracked Method, a process that emulates traditional darkroom practices through manual color correction and tonal balancing. This allows us to produce scans that maintain the true depth, grain, and character of film while preserving accurate skin tones and natural contrast.

Because we operate on a small-batch system, we take the time to review, correct, and refine each scan individually rather than relying on automated color profiles or batch corrections. The result is film work that feels intentional, artful, and true to the photographer’s vision.
