OUR STORY
Founded in 2021 by Jaymie Belknap, Cracked Film Lab grew from over 10 years of experience in photography and a lifelong passion for film. What began as a personal craft became a mission to make quality film processing more accessible to Spokane’s growing analog photography community.
Jaymie’s journey with film began in childhood, long before she ever considered it a profession. By high school, with few local resources for developing film, she taught herself the process and transformed her bathroom into a makeshift darkroom. Seeing her first negatives come to life sparked a lasting appreciation for both the art and science of analog photography.
What started as a resource for friends and family has since grown into a dedicated film lab offering film processing, scanning, film sales, and convenient satellite locations throughout Spokane.
With over a decade of hands-on photography experience, we understand the trust that goes into every roll of film. Each frame holds moments, stories, and creative work worth preserving. Our commitment to quality, education, and accessibility is rooted in providing the reliable, thoughtful lab experience Jaymie once wished for herself.
